The title actually is an inside joke. Probably the most personal, and only way I can comfortably explain myself during a time I wasn't the greatest, and avoided the world and people I love most.
lyrics
Please understand that it's not as simple
As you would assume
From the problems I faced everyday
To the ones I tried just to escape
And it's never felt so hard
To get that message through
To anyone that would never listen
I wouldn't blame you
Take some time to realize
I really wasn't as fine
Ohhh as I seemed I was
On my own, as I dreamed I was
And I speak the words of a shy man
It's time I show them just how it feels
Intimidate those who can't
Show me what you're working with
Go ahead and make your love to a full/fool
It won't matter much to me
As long as we end any rivalry
And accept any such commradery
The end of the world will feel as if
It's never gonna come
Don't you worry
There's no hurry
To rush the destruction of your home
Taking on the chance of shoplifting
An already broken heart
Ohhh what it'd do to you
Ohh no. What'd it do to you?
You'll say, "Boy, you can't hide behind that rock & roll"
The worst of me is all you've known
As bitter as this could possibly end
Show me what you're working with
